Our Philosophy
Psygaia is founded on the universal and timeless wisdom that everything is interconnected. Individual health, cultural health, and ecological health are thus interdependent. We view psychedelics as essential components of a living and self-regulating planetary system.
Right relationship is thus integral to harmony and balance of the whole.
Psygaia emerged from shared experiences and mutual apprehension of our connection to Nature. Psychedelics have been catalysts for profound healing and growth, exploration and spiritual discovery. We therefore work towards a world in which psychedelics are safe, healthy and accepted parts of culture.
We view the global prohibition on psychedelics as fundamentally misled and perilously consequential.
Disconnection between the human organism and the Earth through symbiotic relationship to ancient plant and fungi organisms is increasingly thwarting human potential and endangering human survival. We thus believe psychedelics need to be made legal and maintain that naturally-occurring psychedelics are an essential part of a healthy person, culture and planet.
